Our Story

Magnetpop is on a mission to bring fresh energy and bold design to one of the most popular travel and adventure souvenirs, the humble magnet.

I’m Ashlyn, and I feel most alive when I’m traveling and experiencing nature. There is nothing better than watching dolphins play at sunrise, discovering a new magical trail, or witnessing a baby turtle find its way to the sea. I grew up in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where I came to learn that nature and wildlife are kind of my thing.

I’ve been fortunate to travel to many beautiful, wild places like Costa Rica, Iceland, Canada, the Andes mountains, and countless U.S. national parks and hidden gems. A tradition was born from my adventures—collecting magnets! I love reliving my memories every time I stop by the fridge. Although, as much as I love them, the typical souvenir magnet design always seem a little, er, stale?

I started Magnetpop to make travel magnets a little more aesthetic, a little more minimalistic, and most importantly, to keep your adventures fresh and bright in your memory. Also, I just love making art, and it’s a lot more fun than a 9-5!
